(DE) Workshop: Über Rechtsterrorismus sprechen
Rechte Gewalt und rechter Terror waren und sind in Deutschland alltäglich und keine Einzelfälle. Die mediale Berichterstattung und die Aufarbeitung durch Justiz, Politik und Gesellschaft lassen in den allermeisten Fällen zu wünschen übrig. Falsche Narrative werden übernommen, Betroffene von rassistischer und antisemitischer Gewalt werden nicht ernst genommen und die politische Motivation hinter Gewalttaten bleibt unterbelichtet. Was macht Freies Radio, um eine andere Auseinandersetzung mit rechter Gewalt voranzutreiben und Verharmlosungen und falschen Narrativen etwas entgegen zu setzen? Worauf ist bei Recherche und Berichterstattung zu achten? Wie können wir als Radiomachende dazu beitragen, das öffentliche Bewusstsein sensibler für rechte Strukturen zu machen und eine angemessene Erinnerungskultur zu entwickeln? Welche Rolle spielt kritisches Gedenken in einer pluralen antifaschistischen Radiopraxis?
Gemeinsam wollen wir uns Strategien und Herangehensweisen überlegen und unser Netzwerk ausbauen, auch um überregional besser zusammen zu arbeiten.
Clemens moderiert bei LORA München das Philosophie-Magazin und gestaltet die tagesaktuellen Magazine mit. Er hat sich viel mit dem Terroranschlag am Münchner Olympia-Einkaufszentrum beschäftigt und über den skandalösen Prozess und die verkorkste Berichterstattung dazu berichtet. (Abseits seiner ehrenamtlichen Radiotätigkeiten versucht er finanziell über die Runden zu kommen.)

Christina arbeitet als Kunsthistorikerin in Halle, ist seit mehreren Jahren bei Radio Corax aktiv und hat dort unter anderem den Podcast „Halle nach dem Anschlag“ über den Prozess gegen den Täter des antisemitischen, rassistischen und frauenfeindlichen Anschlag in Halle 2019 miterarbeitet.

(EN) Workshop: Talking about right-wing terrorism
Right-wing violence and right-wing terror have been and still are commonplace in Germany and are not isolated incidents. In the vast majority of cases, media coverage and the way in which the judiciary, politics and society deal with them leave much to be desired. False narratives are adopted, victims of racist and anti-Semitic violence are not taken seriously, and the political motivation behind acts of violence remains underexposed. What is Free Radio doing to promote a different approach to right-wing violence and to counteract trivialization and false narratives? What should we pay attention to in research and reporting? How can we, as radio broadcasters, contribute to making the public more sensitive to right-wing structures and to developing an appropriate culture of remembrance? What role does critical commemoration play in a plural anti-fascist radio practice?
Together we want to think about strategies and approaches and expand our network, also to work better together supra-regionally.
Clemens moderates the philosophy magazine at LORA Munich and contributes to the daily news magazines. He has done a lot of work on the terrorist attack at Munich’s Olympic shopping center, reporting on the scandalous trial and the messed-up coverage of it. (Away from his volunteer radio work, he tries to make ends meet financially).

Christina works as an art historian in Halle, has been active at Radio Corax for several years, where she co-created, among other things, the podcast „Halle after the attack“ about the trial of the perpetrator of the anti-Semitic, racist and misogynist attack in Halle in 2019.

(FR) Atelier de travail : Parler du terrorisme de droite
La violence et la terreur de droite ont été et sont encore monnaie courante en Allemagne et ne sont pas des cas isolés. Dans la plupart des cas, la couverture médiatique et le traitement par la justice, la politique et la société laissent à désirer. Des récits erronés sont repris, les victimes de violences racistes et antisémites ne sont pas prises au sérieux et la motivation politique derrière les actes de violence n’est pas prise en compte. Que fait la radio libre pour promouvoir une autre approche de la violence de droite et pour contrer la minimisation et les faux récits ? A quoi faut-il faire attention lors de la recherche et du reportage ? Comment pouvons-nous, en tant que professionnels de la radio, contribuer à rendre le public plus sensible aux structures de droite et à développer une culture du souvenir appropriée ? Quel est le rôle de la mémoire critique dans une pratique radiophonique antifasciste plurielle ?
Ensemble, nous voulons réfléchir à des stratégies et des approches et développer notre réseau, également pour mieux travailler ensemble au niveau interrégional.
Clemens anime le magazine de philosophie de LORA Munich et participe à la conception des magazines d’actualité. Il s’est beaucoup occupé de l’attentat terroriste au centre commercial olympique de Munich et a fait des reportages sur le procès scandaleux et les reportages ratés à ce sujet. (En dehors de ses activités radiophoniques bénévoles, il essaie de joindre les deux bouts financièrement).
