Woher kommen diese Meldungen und wie kann man sie entlarven? Wie kann man selbst vermeiden Falschmeldungen zu verbreiten? Im Workshop erfahrt ihr, welche Recherchemöglichkeiten man hat, also wie man Originaltexte und Bilder im Internet findet, wie man Quellen auf ihre Echtheit zu überprüft und welche Quellen vermehrt Falschmeldungen verbreiten.
Wir stellen außerdem Webseiten vor, die Sammlungen bekannter Falschmeldungen anbieten.

This workshop deals with the phenomena of fake news, rumours and such.
Where do these messages come from and how can we debunk them? How can you yourself avoid disseminating hoaxes? You will learn about research opportunities online for original texts and images, about proofing sources and about what kind of source are less trustworthy than others.
Furthermore we will introduce you to web sites that collect known hoaxes.
